Zillow’s celebration of its 10-year anniversary kicked off Tuesday night with dramatic lightings of its downtown Seattle headquarters building and the Great Wheel which spins below on the city’s waterfront.

The giant “12” that has lit up the face of the Russell Investments Center on Second Avenue during Seahawks action gave way to a “Z 10” in honor of the real estate media giant’s decade of operation. The unique lighting display is achieved by illuminating certain floors and offices in the building and darkening others.
Down below at Seattle’s Pier 57, the multi-colored Great Wheel switched to blue and white for an hour to showcase a giant “Z” for its neighbor above.

Later on Wednesday, the celebration will continue as CEO Spencer Rascoff will lead 40 of Zillow’s earliest employees over to Benaroya Hall for a remote ringing of the Nasdaq closing bell.
